After what I reading the times article on Michelle, as well as watching the interview on CSPAN-2 of the writer of “Obama On The Couch” – I’ve come to a rather simple conclusion. White elites, to the right or the left, don’t understand and don’t particularly like educated, tactful Black people in positions of power. Period.

So, Michele Obama is an angry bitch because she didn’t want to give up her career and her normal family to have her kids stalked 24/7 or being criticized for, I kid you not, having muscular arms for a woman her late 40′s and wearing sleeveless shirts. Yes, so the President married the a natural MILF and the right wingers and the PL are having a hissy fit because Michele Obama looks great and cares more about hanging with her friends and shopping for groceries than press conference. And these people wonder why this woman hates DC and wants to go home?

This convulsion from the know-it-all’s in the professional Left shows one thing for certain, They know that Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. is going to get a second term, with or without them. Mostly without them.

Intellectually and on tactical standpoints, Obama has their nuts in vice gripe like Kat Williams did to Terry Crews in “Friday After Next”. They can’t really stir him up and they can’t see too many holes in his strategies. The Republicans have pretty much conceded the election with their slate. So they after his only Achilles’ Heel, his family.

Desperate and low blow, if you ask me.

Feeling a little “strong, black woman” peeking through in the perspective that our First Lady will weather this storm. It isn’t up to her to weather this storm alone. We need to have her back and not leave it up to her handling it, alone. She can’t say or do the things we can say and do to counter it.

And I don’t see a silver lining in the same ole racist memes about black women being trotted out. It goes to show, even if you are the President or the First Lady, race trumps all.

lockewasright…thank you for your comment. I agree that Mrs. Obama will weather this storm as she has the others. I have got to admit that I never paid that much attention to politics before, not at all like I have with the Obama administration. There are a lot of things I dislike, for instance the way some of these folk stoop to such lows to sell books is just shameful. When Chris Mathews’s book was about to come out he went on a rant against the President so the right-wingers would take note…the attacks on Mrs. Obama will not let up, and everyone knows that writing a book about the woman that all right-wingers hate will only make for a best-seller. Most Talk Show Host and Conservative writers should wish that President Obama stay in office for another time…they are benifitting royally from the hateful rhetoric that they spew out daily…It only makes for a more divisive America.

My high regard for President Obama stems in part from whom he chose to partner with in marriage. It is evident that he considers her his equal as a PERSON. And is not in the least bit afraid to express it the world.

I am frequently reminded of Barack Obama’s similarity to the presidents Aaron Sorkin portrayed in his writings – The American President and The West Wing. I eagerly await the day President Obama takes the podium in the Press Room of the White House and says, “Y’all need to leave Michelle alone. ‘Cause she is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay outta your league.”

Republicans – and apparently quite a few of the “professional Left” – seem to have this idea that politicians’ wives should be brainless arm ornaments, whose only function is to pop out a few attractive children and stand next to their husband looking adoringly at him.

Anyone with ‘eyes to see and ears to hear’ who spends five minutes looking at videos or pictures of the Obamas together will see the true love and respect they have for each other. How strong they must be to know that all this slime will be thrown at them but carry on anyway. I am trying to send regular messages of support to the White House to push back against all the nastiness that comes their way regularly. And I don’t think the military families are going to be buying all the dirt on Mrs. O.
